I'm old, tired and worn out. It's been a rough year. How rough?

A heart attack in September of 08 didn't kill me (obviously) but it did slow me down. I'm still on the "rehab" program.

My housemate's unexpected death in July of 09 (she had just turned 60 and all hell broke loose) left me  stunned and dazed.  

My bike accident knocked out two of my front teeth and left a permanent ringing in my ears. 

A bug bit me on Presque Isle in Erie, PA and has left a big scar on my forehead.

 And those are just the “highlights”.  Or should they be LOW lights?

Next week I'm headed to sunny FLORIDA for good. I'm writing this note while finishing up a consulting contract in Erie, PA., the most dreary place I've ever been. It is OCTOBER 2, 2009, 49 degrees, a cold bone chilling rain is falling from the typically overcast skies and the fine folks of Erie keep telling me it is unusual weather.

Unusual or not, I'm tired of it. I know the beaches of Florida are warm and it is sunny there. Hello Benny's at the pier in Lake Worth. After the 15th of October you can meet me there for lunch. Any day of the week.

That is, if you are buying. Otherwise leave me alone and let me enjoy the view. If you are buying, then I'm willing to talk to you about TOLL positions and/or anything else you might want to discuss. But let's get back for a moment to THIS note and what you can get your hands on right now, OK?

Does it matter what I'm going to do or where I'm going to live?
